The CSR Roadsport extends the 7's performance envelope while delivering an even more refined ride. The CSR Roadsport features an all new chassis that has the same increased dimensions as the Roadsport SV but is 100% stiffer. The new chassis allowed Caterham engineers to completely redesign the front and rear suspension and make subtle but substantial aerodynamic modifications. The new front suspension is wider and incorporates in-board front spring damper units with push-rod articulation. The new rear suspension replaces the DeDion set-up with a fully independent, double wishbone design. These suspension changes reduce un-sprung weight, increase adjustability and result in a more responsive and surer handling sportscar with better overall ride characteristics. The optional CSR Interior Package provides a stylish and elegant alternative to the classic 7 interior.
